Many talented young people in Bannu and the surrounding areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have the ability to earn online, but not the money to start a business. They cannot buy stock, rent a shop or pay for expensive courses in big cities. At Javeria Tech & Sols, we decided to change that.
We are building a digital earning ecosystem for students from remote and low-income areas: a complete path from learning a skill to earning in dollars, without needing money to invest. Alhamdulillah, our students have already started seeing results.
Why we are building this ecosystem
Most of our students come from families where every rupee matters. Traditional businesses need capital, and most online “opportunities” ask for money upfront. We wanted a model that works for a student who has only their time, a computer at our lab and the will to learn.
Digital products are that model. A student designs a product once, for example a planner, a template or an e-book, and sells it again and again to buyers in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and Europe. There is no stock to buy, no shop to rent and nothing to ship.
Our belief is simple: a student’s background should not decide their future. Skills should.
How the ecosystem works
We follow a clear pattern, so every student knows the next step:
- Learn the basics. Computer skills, English for online work and safe use of the internet.
- Learn a creative skill. Design in Canva and design software, with AI tools to work faster and better.
- Find what buyers want. Research which products people are already searching for and buying.
- Create the product. Build original, high-quality digital products, checked for licensing and quality.
- List and sell. Set up a store, write listings that rank in search, and make mock-up images.
- Get paid and grow. Receive payments in Pakistan, add new products, and help newer students.
Students who cannot afford a laptop can practise on our lab computers during class hours. Our teachers work on real online stores and client projects every day, so they teach what actually works today, not old theory.
What kind of digital products do our students make?
| Type | Examples |
|---|---|
| Planners & trackers | Budget planners, study planners, habit trackers, wedding planners |
| Templates | Canva social-media templates, CV templates, invoices, business cards |
| Printables & wall art | Islamic calligraphy prints, quotes, kids’ worksheets, colouring pages |
| E-books & guides | How-to guides, recipe books, checklists |
| Design assets | Icon packs, mock-ups, backgrounds, presets |
| Educational resources | Flashcards, lesson plans, activity sheets for teachers and parents |
“Without investment”: what that really means
Students do not need to buy stock or pay for a shop. Some selling platforms take a small fee per listing or per sale, usually only when something sells. We teach students to start on free or low-cost platforms, and to choose platforms and payment methods that work from Pakistan.
Alhamdulillah: our students are already earning
This is not just an idea. Students from our classes have already made their first online sales, some of them from homes where nobody had earned in dollars before. Every success shows the next student that it is possible. You can hear our students tell their own stories on our TikTok channel.
